GOLDBECK SOLAR strongly committed to the energy transition

Hirschberg-based company sponsors Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2019

Among some 2,000 high-level visitors from politics, business and society, decision-makers from Goldbeck Solar GmbH in Hirschberg also participate in BETD. The solar company, founded in 2001, seizes the opportunity to support the energy transition with an active exchange and presents itself and current projects with an information stand.

On 9 and 10 April 2019, the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2019 will bring together international decision-makers in energy and foreign policy, including 40 energy and foreign ministers and state secretaries from more than 90 countries, industry, science and society. For Goldbeck Solar Managing Director Joachim Goldbeck, participation is a must, as he is also involved in his function as President of the German Solar Association.

He will talk about current developments in energy policy, innovative policy mechanisms and new investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector. This year the focus is on integrated system transformation and sector coupling. Both focus areas are important topics that have been shaping the renewable energy sector for years and are gaining in relevance as the share of renewable energies in the system increases. At the same time, the geopolitical effects of the global energy revolution, the opportunities offered by digitization and questions relating to structural change will be discussed.

Goldbeck Solar, as a silver sponsor, will exchange ideas on future business models for the global transformation of energy systems, establish contacts with investors and politicians and take part in discussions on the challenges of the transformation of energy systems. After all, the company not only wants to build up further know-how itself, but also to pass on its many years of international experience to other countries.
