This week Kasymzhomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited several companies in the Karaganda region. He also talked to Evgeniy Grebennikov from GOLDBECK SOLAR and emphasized the importance of solar energy for the future.
A special moment for our company: Kasymzhomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took the time during his visit to the Karaganda region to talk with Evgeniy Grebennikov of GOLDBECK SOLAR about the future of energy. In Karaganda, we have built the largest solar project in Central Asia with the SES Saran project. The Solarpark Akadyr in Karaganda is also outstanding in the GOLDBECK SOLAR portfolio.
In his conversation with Evgeniy Grebennikov (KazSolar-50, SES Saran, GOLDBECK SOLAR), President Kasymzhomart Tokayev emphasized the importance of implementing projects related to renewable energy sources for Kazakhstan.
“Renewable energies are a promising area,” emphasized the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. “The whole world is moving in this direction. I was in Germany, I spoke about this topic with heads of German companies. In general, I think it is necessary to pay the greatest attention to cooperation with them. Solar power is interesting because it can solve a number of problems in the future,” he said.
With its commitment in Kazakhstan, GOLDBECK SOLAR is helping to achieve national emission reduction targets and can actively help to shape the energy turnaround in Central Asia. 176 MWp have already been connected in the past years. 68,750 households are supplied with clean energy via our plants and save 185,079.37 kg CO2 per year.
