Six Key Areas for Safe Plant Operations
Technical management
A dedicated Technical Asset Manager coordinates all operational, Maintenance, and repair activities. This includes fault and incident management, ticket and action management, as well as documented communication and escalation procedures.
An operations management and monitoring system—including licenses and operator access—provides transparency at all times regarding the system’s status, pending tasks, and relevant KPIs.
Operator and Facility Responsibility
GOLDBECK SOLAR handles the management of operator obligations, including inspection, deadline, and documentation management. System responsibility is fulfilled in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100.
Switching and authorization procedures, the coordination of third-party contractors, and digital documentation processes ensure safely organized system operation.
VEFK and Occupational Safety
A certified electrical specialist, appointed in writing, oversees the electrical systems management. Inspection and safety plans, risk assessments, training sessions, and a DGUV inspection plan help ensure compliance with operator obligations.
Inspection deadlines and identified defects are systematically monitored and tracked.
Control Room and Emergency Response Organization
The facility is monitored around the clock. Operational data is archived, alarms are automatically forwarded, and malfunctions are analyzed remotely.
A battery and thermal runaway response plan governs the alarm notification system, fire department interfaces, and support procedures in the event of battery or safety incidents. Regular emergency drills complement the safety plan.
Maintenance, Repairs, and Replacement Parts
Preventive maintenance is performed in accordance with OEM specifications for all major components, including BMS, PCS, EMS, transformers, medium-voltage switchgear, communication systems, HVAC, and fire protection.
In the event of malfunctions, GOLDBECK SOLAR handles remote diagnostics, on-site troubleshooting, and recommissioning. A project-specific spare parts strategy featuring minimum stock levels and an optional consignment inventory reduces additional downtime.
Reporting and Optimization
Monthly operational reports provide transparency regarding availability, Maintenance, outages, tickets, security incidents, and relevant performance metrics.
In addition, the Technical Asset Manager analyzes vulnerabilities, risks, and opportunities for optimization. This analysis also takes into account warranty claims, CAPEX measures, obsolescence, and the long-term service life of assets.
Guarantees from a Single Source
Warranty periods from EPC handover to the end of operations—governed by the O&M contract
