Key drivers behind the EcoVadis Gold Rating
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates companies across four key areas of sustainability:
Environment
GOLDBECK SOLAR continues to strengthen its environmental management, with a focus on climate action, resource efficiency, emissions management, biodiversity, and the responsible use of resources throughout its value chain.
Labor & Human Rights
Strong standards for employee well-being, occupational health and safety, training, development, and responsible working conditions form an important part of the company’s sustainability approach.
Ethics
Established compliance structures, responsible business practices, risk management, and measures supporting transparency and integrity contribute to GOLDBECK SOLAR’s strong performance in business ethics.
Sustainable Procurement
The company continues to strengthen sustainability considerations within its supply chain and procurement processes, promoting responsible sourcing and greater transparency across its international value chain.
Understanding the Gold Rating in Context
The EcoVadis Gold Rating is not a certification that is simply renewed each year. Since 2024, EcoVadis has awarded its medals based on percentile rankings rather than fixed score thresholds. Companies are assessed against the performance of all organizations evaluated during the previous twelve months, across all industries. As sustainability performance improves globally, the score required to achieve Gold continues to increase.
In addition, companies must meet minimum performance requirements in each of the four assessment categories. Strong overall results cannot compensate for weaknesses in a single area. This makes the Gold Rating a particularly meaningful recognition of consistent and well-balanced sustainability performance across all sustainability dimensions.
Looking ahead
The EcoVadis Gold Rating is an important recognition of GOLDBECK SOLAR’s ongoing sustainability journey and complements the company’s continued efforts to increase transparency through its ESG Report 2025. The achievement reflects the company’s commitment to embedding sustainability across its operations and value chain.
Gold is an important achievement, but it is not the destination. GOLDBECK SOLAR will continue to build on this progress, strengthen its ESG performance, and work together with employees, customers, partners, and suppliers to create sustainable value and contribute to the global energy transition.
