2001
Joachim Goldbeck founds the companies GOLDBECK SOLAR GmbH and SOLARNET GmbH.
2007
We are gradually starting to expand our activities to the European market.
2008
We are entering the Spanish market.
2011
We are now also represented on the British market.
2014
Award for the best large-scale PV system in the UK with the Lackford solar project. GOLDBECK SOLAR receives the Intersolar Award for technical excellence for the Marienheide school and sports center in North Rhine-Westphalia. Joachim Goldbeck is elected President of the BSW.
2015
With the acquisition of the O&M business of Soventix and Gehrlicher Solar, we are expanding our range of services.
2017
We open our branch in Mexico City and enter the Chilean market, and this year we receive the Intersolar Award 2017 for our first-ever combination of a landfill cover with a ground-mounted PV system in Detmold, a project that brings together environmental and climate protection.
2018
GOLDBECK SOLAR and SOLARNET merge to form the new internationally positioned GOLDBECK SOLAR.
2019
GOLDBECK SOLAR positions itself in the large-scale segment and reaches the 1 GW mark. We connect the largest solar project in Central Asia (100 MW) and the largest solar plant in the Netherlands (103 MW) to the grid. GOLDBECK and GOLDBECK SOLAR are finalists in the "Intelligent Renewable Energies" category of the Intersolar Award 2019 with the GEOS program, the energy optimization system from GOLDBECK.
2020
A big year - 96 MWp were installed in Germany, including major solar projects such as Zietlitz and Sunera II. In the Netherlands, 270 MWp were finalized with projects such as Stadskanaal, Buinerveen and Duurkenakker. In Kazakhstan, the expansion of Akadyr extention was completed with 26 MWp. In Mexico, we realized our first solar project with a tracker system in Latin America. The company also concluded important strategic alliances: Zonnepark Services for O&M services in the Netherlands was founded with Chint Solar, which manages an O&M portfolio of more than 1 GWp. At the end of the year, a decision was made to acquire a stake in PMT.
2021
The Bavelse Berg project in the Netherlands with a special engineering solution is completed. Our innovation MarcS (Modular Arc System) is introduced and honored with the Intersolar Award 2021.
2022
The first phase of the largest project in Central and Eastern Europe, Zwartowo, with a capacity of 204 MWp is inaugurated. GOLDBECK SOLAR acquires the PV-EPC business of GP JOULE in North America. With this acquisition, GOLDBECK SOLAR strengthens its position on the American continent.
2023
With the Ecovadis certification, we are setting an example for the active implementation of sustainability initiatives. The strategic realignment of Solarnet Investment and the change of name to GOLDBECK SOLAR Investment enable us to offer all services along the value chain of a solar project from a single source.
2024
As part of the Joachim Goldbeck Holding, the GOLDBECK SOLAR Group has received the TOP 100 Seal 2024. The award honors particularly innovative medium-sized companies. Start of construction in Bartow: With a capacity of 260 MWp and a total area of over 205 hectares, this solar park will be the second largest in Germany to date.
