Ground-breaking ceremony for the Döllen solar park: GOLDBECK SOLAR and the CEE Group launch first joint project for the energy transition

The construction of the solar park Döllen in Brandenburg has been launched. With this major project, the Hamburg-based CEE Group is expanding its renewable energy portfolio to 1,340 MW. For GOLDBECK SOLAR, the project is the largest in Germany to date.

160,000 megawatt hours of green electricity will soon be generated here: The construction of the Döllen solar park in Brandenburg was ceremonially launched on Wednesday, June 1, with a ground-breaking ceremony. Over the coming months, a major renewable energy project will be built here for the CEE Group, expanding the company’s portfolio to 1340 MW. GOLDBECK SOLAR is supporting the Hamburg-based company as an EPC service provider.

Döllen solar park: A milestone for GOLDBECK SOLAR

“We are delighted to be able to accompany this important step for the CEE Group together with antlike Solar and Chint Solar,” says GOLDBECK-SOLAR COO Tobias Schüßler. The solar park is the largest project to date that the company from Hirschberg a. d. Bergstraße has realized in Germany. A milestone for GOLDBECK SOLAR. “If we want to achieve our climate targets, we need to invest more in the expansion of renewable energy. Large-scale projects such as the Döllen solar park are of fundamental importance in this respect,” explains Tobias Schüßler.

Together with Frank Grafe (CIO of the CEE Group Hamburg), Martin Kanitz (Managing Director of antlike Solar) and Alexander Gutsch (GOLDBECK SOLAR), Tobias Schüßler broke ground on Wednesday.

As soon as all preparations have been completed, the solar modules are scheduled to be installed in fall 2022. The Döllen solar park is scheduled to go into operation in March/April 2023. The new solar park in the district of Prignitz in Brandenburg will then reach a peak capacity of 154.4 MWp.
