GOLDBECK SOLAR strengthens its presence in North America by renaming the GP JOULE EPC Division

GOLDBECK SOLAR is pleased to announce the renaming of its North American EPC division, previously known as GP JOULE EPC North America. Effective immediately, the division will operate under the name GOLDBECK SOLAR. This marks the final step in the post-acquisition integration process to reflect the company’s values, vision and unique offering.

By changing its name, GOLDBECK SOLAR aims to further expand its presence in North America and combine the renowned expertise of both companies. By leveraging the synergies between the two companies, GOLDBECK SOLAR will be able to offer unrivaled solar energy solutions that meet the evolving needs of the region.

Renaming of legal entities

The rebranding also includes the renaming of the legal entities so that GP JOULE PV Canada Corp. and GP JOULE PV USA Inc. will now operate as GOLDBECK SOLAR Canada Corp. and GOLDBECK SOLAR USA Inc. respectively. This unified branding across the North American region ensures a consistent and recognizable identity.

Joachim Goldbeck, founder and CEO of the GOLDBECK SOLAR Group, expressed his excitement about the name change: “The rebranding of our North American division to GOLDBECK SOLAR is a testament to our commitment to the region and our determination to be at the forefront of the energy transition. We are bringing the best of both companies together to deliver high quality solar systems that enable our customers to achieve their energy goals while ensuring a sustainable future.”

About GOLDBECK SOLAR

GOLDBECK SOLAR is an international company specializing in the turnkey construction of commercial rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, covering the entire value chain from project development to direct sales of clean energy. With 22 years of experience in the optimization and construction of world-class solar power plants, the company is a driving force in various markets.

The North American subsidiary was founded in 2011 and has extensive expertise in the planning, construction and commissioning of exceptional photovoltaic systems. One of its unique values is the integration of EPC services – often carried out by its experienced construction team – with the supply of fixed or tracking substructures adapted to the technical and environmental requirements of the North American market. This vertical integration, while optional, helps ensure process reliability, quality of execution and increased efficiency, resulting in high-performance solar installations.

GOLDBECK SOLAR has offices in the U.S. and Canada and has commissioned more than 200 MW at sites across Canada and in the Northeast and Midwest. This uniquely positions the company to serve customers across North America. In 2023, the company expects to double its installed capacity to 400 MW in the market.
