GOLDBECK SOLAR completes construction of the 87 MWp solar park in Ketzin

GOLDBECK SOLAR announces the successful completion and inauguration of the Ketzin solar park in Brandenburg, southwest of Berlin. With an installed capacity of 87 MWp, the plant will generate around 91 GWh of clean electricity annually, enough to supply the equivalent of 28,000 households with sustainable energy. This project will avoid around 75,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually, making a significant contribution to climate protection and the energy transition in Germany.

The Ketzin solar park was realized in close cooperation with the customer EDP Renewables and represents a milestone for GOLDBECK SOLAR as EPC partner in one of the largest major projects in the region. The plant will also supply a large technology company with clean energy via a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA), thereby strengthening the role of solar energy in the sustainable supply of electricity to the digital infrastructure.
“We are very pleased to have realized the Ketzin solar park together with EDP Renewables,” says Tobias Schüßler, COO of GOLDBECK SOLAR. “This project shows how strong partnerships and advanced technology can accelerate the energy transition.”

Construction of the solar park began in November 2024 and was completed in November 2025. This marks the successful completion of another project in GOLDBECK SOLAR’s growing portfolio of large-scale renewable energy plants. The plant not only contributes to the local and regional supply of green electricity, but also strengthens Germany’s position as a pioneer in sustainable energy solutions.
