Solarpark Veendam

The plant in the municipality of Veendam is turning a contaminated area that is no longer suitable for agricultural use into a source of green energy. It was opened in March 2018 as one of the first open-air plants in the Netherlands and is a true visual monument next to the canal. It shows how a previously unused area can be put to good use again and visually enhanced with a PV system.
