Adherence to this compliance policy is the responsibility of the entire company and therefore of all employees and our business partners.
We have shared common values since the company was founded in 2001. They are the basis for our decision-making. Our pillars are trust, customer focus, intelligence, professionalism and the will to succeed. These five core values characterize our company and the way we deal with our customers, business partners, suppliers and employees. The GOLDBECK SOLAR compliance guideline contains specifications for compliance with national and international laws, rules and ethical behavior. It lays the foundation for continued successful cooperation and the sustainable development of our company. It supplements the GOLDBECK SOLAR corporate guideline, which describes our self-image, our goals and the standards for our actions. The regulations laid down here are accessible to our customers and business partners and are also binding for them. Compliance is a task for all employees of our group of companies. In addition to fulfilling their role model function, line managers therefore have the task of ensuring that employees in their area of responsibility are aware of the compliance guidelines, remain aware of them and follow them. This requires personal discussions as well as organizational measures. Violations of the compliance guideline will not be tolerated. The GOLDBECK SOLAR management ensures that the defined standards are implemented throughout the entire group of companies and practiced with our employees, customers and subcontractors.
GOLDBECK SOLAR not only respects the rights and dignity of its employees. We were one of the first companies in the industry to commit to the UN’s SDG guidelines and have consistently incorporated them into our company’s compliance guidelines. We also expect our suppliers to comply with social standards and make this a condition for cooperation. For years now, we have had the
Zertifizierung gem. der Richtlinien der SA8000 and make this a condition for every new supplier relationship.
The links between human rights violations in China and raw material manufacturers for the solar industry brought to light by Amnesty International and Sheffield Hallam University are very concerning for us. Together with our manufacturers and the solar industry associations, we are doing everything we can to bring more transparency to the supply chain BEFORE module production. We will use all means and ways available to us to establish our own requirements and standards in the procurement channels of our suppliers – and at the same time ensure the security of supply of the components required for the expansion of renewable energies in Europe.
