Veendam, (NL)

The plant in the municipality of Veendam now turns a contaminated area that is no longer suitable for agricultural use into a source of green energy. It was launched in March 2018 as one of the first outdoor facilities in the Netherlands and visually forms a true monument next to the canal. It shows how a previously unused area can be meaningfully reused and optically enhanced by a PV system.
