GOLDBECK SOLAR successfully completes construction of the 90 MWp Postomino solar park

New large-scale photovoltaic project Postomino supplies up to 32,000 households in Poland with clean energy

GOLDBECK SOLAR has successfully completed construction work on the Postomino solar park in the Polish municipality of Nosalin (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). The modern photovoltaic plant with an output of 90 MWp covers an area of around 110 hectares and will generate around 96 GWh of green electricity per year – enough to cover the needs of up to 32,000 households.

The solar park is part of a pioneering cable pooling project in which the new plant will be connected to the existing high-voltage infrastructure of a neighboring wind farm. GOLDBECK SOLAR Polska is responsible for the complete implementation of the project – from planning and installation to grid connection.

The south-facing module structures ensure optimal sunlight exposure and maximum efficiency. The construction is now completed with MV/HV substation 30/110 kV and 8km high-voltage connection 110 kV cable route. Currently, final measurements, configurations, and preparations for commissioning are underway.

“With the Postomino solar park, we are sending a strong signal for Poland’s sustainable energy future,” says Tobias Schüssler, COO of GOLDBECK SOLAR. “The combination of photovoltaics and wind power through cable pooling shows how synergies can be used efficiently to further advance the energy transition. We are proud to have reached this milestone together with our Polish team.”

Once this phase has been successfully completed, the solar park will be commissioned and fed into the grid. With the expected annual electricity production, the plant will reduce CO₂ emissions by around 61,223 tons – a significant contribution to the energy transition and to achieving climate targets.
