We live climate protection not only through our products. At GOLDBECK SOLAR, every employee is committed to keeping our ecological footprint as small as possible. We have set out what this means for us in our Green Policy.
But anyone can formulate nice words about what we want. But what counts is what we actually do. And that can be very small, but also many large actions. For one of our biggest actions, the reforestation project, we have now received the climate protection certificate from the ClimatePartner Foundation. We were able to offset 519 tons of CO2 in 2020 by getting everyone involved and planting trees together. Our CEO Joachim Goldbeck has been a member of Leaders for Climate Action since 2020. At our Sustainability Lunch, we worked with our Sustainability Officer Monika Leiner to develop ideas on how we can act more sustainably. Since last year, our employees have been able to use the JobRad service. We have set up NABU collection boxes for old cell phones and participated in Fridays for future campaigns. And we will continue to work on making our contribution in 2021. Because only together can we bring about a change in climate and protect our natural environment in the long term.
