Compliance Policy
GOLDBECK SOLAR not only respects the rights and dignity of its employees. We were one of the first companies in the industry to commit to the UN SDG guidelines and have consistently incorporated them into our company’s compliance guidelines.
We also expect our suppliers to comply with social standards and make this a condition for cooperation. For example, we have had certification in accordance with the SA8000 guidelines for years and make this a condition for every new supplier relationship.
We are very concerned about the connections between human rights violations in China and raw material manufacturers for the solar industry, which have been brought to light by research conducted by Amnesty International and Sheffield Hallam University. Together with our manufacturers, but also the solar industry associations, we are doing everything we can to bring more transparency to the supply chain BEFORE module production.
In doing so, we will use all the means at our disposal to establish our own requirements and standards in the procurement channels of our suppliers as well – and at the same time ensure security of supply with the components needed for the expansion of renewable energies in Europe.
